Comment: Past experiences with 813keys has been great but this one wasn’t. Originally asked for a new key and to retrieve the code for the keyless entry. Employee came and made the key and handed it to me and took the cc info. When I asked about the code he told me I could try the dealer or the owner manual. When I mentioned that I had asked for the code retrieval he said no one said anything to him. He seemed in such a hurry that I let him get to his next job. On top of that it wasn’t even a new key fob but a used one. He said it was reconditioned? A lot for 15 minutes work.Update: just got off the phone with the owner and after an explanation and apology I am now going to give him 5 stars. I’ve used them several times and they are very prompt

So when I go to unlock the door, the alarm would go off until I put the key into the ignition. Basically, I needed service right away. With that said, they were highly recommended from the dealer. Once I called them, not only were they super kind and knowledgeable, Steve came to my need very quickly. Like, within 2 hours. I was super happy with my service. The dealer quoted me much more than this company charged. But the real impressive part was how fast and efficient they were. The dealer told me at least a week. 813 keys had me on the road in an hour.

Comment: I had the pleasure of meeting two men today that work for this locksmith company. I have a VW Passat that, one at a time, we lost both keys. I called them, and they arrived at my home that same day and made two new keys for my wife and I. I also wanted another Key/FOB for a new Ford Explorer I own. They use OEM FOBs and gave me a discount for the second and third key. They were friendly and professional, all of the Key/FOBs were made quickly and worked great, and at a great price. If you loose a Key/FOB and need a replacement, or you bought a vehicle that just came with one key, I highly recommend calling 813 Keys of Tampa.
