AAA got a hold of Ameritech and they immediately sent me a link to track their driver and arrived within 15min! Leo was incredible, he wouldn’t accept any tip and was immeasurably kind, helpful and professional. I now have their company card on my fridge and will only use them. 10/10 would recommend to any and everyone!

Comment: Highly recommend. Great service, with friendly and reliable staff.I recently bought a new home and wanted to rekey all the locks (6 exterior doors with 6 deadbolts and 6 handle locks). I wanted at least 8 bank-level 1 steel locking bars, and my wife wanted square, oil-rubbed bronze handles and deadbolts. Thus, we compromised and got square, oil-rubbed bronze handles and deadbolts. Of course, this meant we had to source from four different suppliers and couldnt buy matching sets.I obviously dont want to carry around a 2 pound ring of keys, so I made an appointment to get all my locks keyed to one common key. I was able to get a same-day appointment on a Saturday with no weekend upcharge. I was able avoid the $75 service fee by bringing the locks (still in their boxes) to the business.Leo was great, patiently explained all my options to me, helped me determine the best course of action, and completed everything in about 90 minutes. I dont always need a locksmith, but when I do, I will call Amerikey.

Unfortunately since I purchased the key fobs off Amazon, they were not the right ones and they could not get them to program. They were great about it! Even with giving up the time to try to accomplish this for me, they didn’t charge me since they were unsuccessful. I will definitely go back once I am able to get the correct fob needed for my car. I liked that, considering that they replaced another locksmith that postponed and canceled 2 appointments and didnt show up on the 3rd and last appointment. Amerikey Locksmith called me back within 30 minutes, set appointment for the next day and then sent me email and text confirmation with the name of the locksmith assigned to me. Comment: I had an issue with accidentally locking my keys in my trunk. The car is not supposed to be able to do that, it usually just beeps until I take them out but this time it just locked with my phone and keys in the trunk. I called and spoke with Bianca who was easy to work with and very understanding. She had the locksmith, Jeff, who was out and about call me and since he had about an hour until his next scheduled service he went out of his way to turn around and head to me. As he was about to get to me my car finally realized the key was in the trunk and opened it without assistance. Im writing this review even though they didnt actually assist me because of how easy they were to work with. I called Bianca to have her let Jeff know I was good and he even called to double check that I was all set. When I offered to pay Jeff at least something for his time coming to me he refused and just said he was glad it worked out. Companies with this kind of customer service are RARE - even Lexus was a big headache to deal with and wanted $120 to send AAA - and it deserves to be recognized. I hope this never happens again but I will always go to Amerikey if I ever need a locksmith again. THANK YOU!

Paul called me back right after he completed the job he was working on to set up an appointment for the next day to rekey my locks. When the previous home took just about 20 minutes longer than expected, he let me know he would be a little late and apologized. No big deal for me as I work from home, but thats huge for someone waiting. They both took their shoes off without me having to ask. They were very polite, pleasant to talk to, and they worked well together to get the job done quickly. Paul made sure to have me test all the locks before they left and one handle had a tight spring that made it possible, but a little difficult to lock the door from the inside. No problem, Paul had it fixed by the time I checked all the other locks. While I paid, Leo vacuumed my entire hallway to make sure no dirt from the outside was brought in. In reality there was no dirt at all but just some of my cats litter, so we had a good laugh about housekeeping being part of their service. Highly recommended. Paul and Leo were fantastic!

Comment: We needed a solution to secure a pocket door in our office and Paul had a great solution! He arrived at the office right on time and shortly after we had a pocket door with a key lock on it which we did not think was going to be possible because the first locksmith we called said hollow core pocket doors cannot really be secured. So glad that we decided to call Paul at Amerikey.
