Comment: Had a great encounter with Anthony!! We have a safe that ended up needing to be drilled out. Anthony came out the first day and tried to resolve it without drilling but, the keypad and system was just not cooperating. Instead of just winging it he went home and did some research. Turns out this lock was one he wasnt familiar with. So he did his research prior to coming back the next day. Showed up on time and got right to work. Limited the damage of drilling out the old and putting in the new!! Only took 1 small hole!! Amazing when you know what youre doing!! Once everything was replaced, you couldnt even tell there was ever a problem!! Excellent work, professional and courteous to our concerns throughout the whole process. Only charged for 1 service call, vise other companies that would have charged to come back, or just drilled multiple holes because they didnt know the lock.. We are completely 100% satisfied with the work Anthony did! Saved us from potentially ruining a nice safe and now we will be able to use it for as long as we have it! Thank you so much for your work Anthony! If we ever need it, you will definitely see our business again!!

Safe & Lock answered and said he can have somebody there in a few minutes. Ended up being Jake was waiting at the house when we got back. Comment: I would like to highly recommend Charlotte County Safe and Lock, which services Sarasota County as well. They make duplicates of your auto key/fob and motorhome keys, and van keys as well as creating a new one for you if you lost or are locked out of your vehicle via their mobile service. My Mercedes Benz motorhome only came with one key and fob and I really needed a backup key. Nobody else that I contacted could make a Mercedes key! Not even Mercedes of Sarasota could make or get me one. But Anthony did !!Great service. Prompt. Pleasant. Professional. Thank you, Anthony (and his sweet rescue dog, Bella)!

I called them to come out and program a 2020 Ram 1500 key fob as I had lost both of my keys and couldnt drive my vehicle. I felt so screwed. I called them up yesterday and they made an appointment to fit my sleep schedule and came out today and programmed me a new key. Now I am driving around my vehicle again and I couldnt be more satisfied. They took the time to work around my schedule and I cannot thank this company enough. Comment: I had the best experience with Anthony from Charlotte county safe and lock. After searching frantically for my car keys all day tearing the house apart multiple times with no luck (we only had one key to our van as we just got it a few days ago) so we called safe and lock towards the end of the work day he thought he was on his last job for the day but SURPISE we really needed him and he said I’ll be right there didn’t even think twice!! When he got here he was so wonderful to talk to and even let me watch him work his magic! He instantly eased my mind and we couldn’t have asked for anyone better! I HIGHLY RECOMMEND HIM!! Comment: Kent did a fabulous job, arriving at the end of his work day, to help us with our door lock dilemma. We live in Venice. The old lock couldnt be removed by us, due to a very stripped screw and the angle it was at. Kent was able to remove it with several tools, including delicate sawing. Finally it was removed and then he installed our new door knob/lock and the dead lock as well. He was pleasant and competent, and the charge was very fair! Wed highly recommend Safe & Lock.

Comment: I was in need of a motorcycle key cut. I had the blank just in case they could not help with one of theirs. I checked with Home Depot and no luuck. I called Destination Power Sports they said to come over they could ... wrong I show up to service and was told that I was misinformed. Then I try Ace Hardware 3 different locations no luck. One of them was so sure ...nope they couldnt help not the place. So I called another Kawasaki dealer in P.C and was told no they can not help.. I was directed to a locksmith... He was not available, only one day of the week he is in his office... to come then. So I continued to hunt for someone to cut this motorcycle key and found Charlotte County Safe and Key. Kyle answered and helped out in a way all others could not. It took Kyle 2 minutes. Mission accomplished !!!Thank you Kyle at Charlotte County Safe and Key. It fit and works well !!

The locksmith (Im assuming the owner of the business) took time to explain a lot of things to me, repaired the original lock and told me how to re-fit it and would take no money for his time and trouble. Comment: Prompt service and reasonable rates: locked my only key in the trunk of a 1996 Jaguar; phoned Charlotte County Safe & Lock at 3p and lock expert technician Cody was at my car within 50 minutes. This was a complicated situation (no power locks, no key fob, non-removable backseat, etc.), but Cody showed up prepared and equipped. With his expertise and calm demeanor, Cody was able to pop open the locked trunk within 10 minutes with no damage to my car or the trunk mechanism ... and I was able to successfully and happily retrieve my only key. (Importantly, Cody saved me a lot of potential heartache and money, because in order to have a key made the car would have been towed from my home to the dealer - and that might not have turned out so well.) The people at Charlotte County Safe & Lock are knowledgeable professional technicians with advanced skills - they are also personable and friendly.
