Comment: These guys are incredible!I was referred to these guys by the employee who runs the key area at my local Home Depot.Service was prompt, the employees were extremely knowledgeable and personable - I was out of there in no time at all.These guys have decades of experience and it shows! I had to have an auto key reprogrammed and right away they knew what needed to be done.Id like to give a shout-out to Andy. He was responsible for taking care of me and he did a phenomenal job. Hes a true professional with more industry knowledge than anyone I have ever encountered.Their prices are more than fair for the services and products they provide. I would be paying a lot more elsewhere for a job and service done half as well.Do yourself a favor and save the headache.Just go to Dedges.

Comment: So we get to the hotel in JAX after a long day of driving with 4 kids under 12. We start to unpack and realize the keys to the Yakima skybox on the roof of our van are missing and it holds all the kids sleeping stuff and it is 11pm. Dedge to the rescue. They were actually our second call. The first company, pop-a-lock, couldnt figure it out. Jim, from Dedges Lock, came out quickly and expertly opened the double pinned lock (think the lock uses both sides of the key and isnt flat on one side like a house key). He also made two replacement keys all for a reasonable price, especially considering it was 12am on a Friday night. They saved our vacation and my needing to break into and ruin a $1K Yakima. I wont hesitate to call them again, but I hope I dont have to! :)

Comment: These guys are simply amazing. I needed to have spare auxiliary keys made for my 1986 Alfa Romeo Spider. Turns out that blanks are not well documented and not easily found. This was bad news for me as the original key was the ONLY key I had that fits the doors and trunk. If it ever got lost I dont know what I would do. The locksmiths made a tremendous effort to get me out of this predicament. They found a key (not an Alfa key) and was able to do some light machining to produce a key that works perfectly. I got three of them hopefully preventing future headaches.This isnt the first time they have bailed me out over the many years I have used them. And Im sure this wont be the last time.

Comment: I had to get a key made from my 1958 Vespa. I didnt at all think to go to any big home improvement place with cookie-cutter key machines. These guys were VERY professional, knowledgeable, and SUPER helpful. We started messing with the scooter, he made a key for it (from scratch) in a few minutes. Then he didnt even want to charge me. He said the few dollars wasnt worth it, hed rather gain a customer than a few bucks.Places like these are becoming more rare. These people are master craftsmen, and they know how to do their job extremely well. I highly recommend going there for any of your key or lock needs. Theyve gained a customer from me!!!!

Comment: After my current locksmith was unable to help me - I called Dedges and Max was very sympathetic to my emergency. He went above and beyond to make sure I could open my business as soon as possible. I was so grateful I decided to have copies of all of our office equipment made that day. All keys worked except for one. I was unable to call them until late in the day to let them know. They walked me through how to remove the lock but the desk design made it impossible for me. 10 minutes before they closed, Max called and volunteered to meet me at my sight and help me out with the key. Within minutes he had the lock removed and a good key cut for it - at no extra cost!I will forever be grateful for their help in my time of need and their above and beyond attitude for customer service. They are my new locksmith for life!

Dedges made two duplicate keys as requested and did not ask for the lock as well as another locksmith requested. I sent out the lock and in less than a week that had repaired it, made a new key and sent it back. Workmanship is fantastic and the new key is really nice.
