Comment: I went to 10 locksmiths to get what seemed to be a run of the mill key duplicated. I was getting ready to give up and take my chances with having just one key for the lock. Jerry at JAM spent the time and exercised the patience needed to modify a blank key into the correct size for the lock. Every other locksmith said I dont have the blank key for this lock. Jerry MADE a blank out of a key that was too long. It didnt work at first, but with persistence and craftsmanship, he hand filed off just enough material to get the key to work. To top it off, the key only cost me $8 so his pricing is more than fair. He also couldnt have been nicer. Dont waste your time like I did. Go straight to JAM for all of your security needs!

Comment: The key shell to my Honda Odyssey had shattered and I had to get it replaced. I ordered one off of Amazon and found this place to do the job. It was a Sunday and a lot of places were closed already when I was calling around. I am really thankful that this place was open because the owner is pretty much a lifer locksmith and he put in some work to get it done for me. For some reason the machine was not accepting the code and was telling him that my key was too worn, which he disagreed with. It took about twice as long as he initially quoted over the phone as a result of this and it was close to closing time but he was determined to help and now I have a perfectly capable key again!

Long Story Short: After a 20yr old lock malfunctioned, we braced ourselves for a few $100 day. Comment: Asked to make a copy of my 10yr old car key and fob. Was quoted a much better price then the Dealer. I tried to make small talk but was rebuffed/asked not to interrupt. Rude! I thought. Then I watched the guy (Jerry) trying to program the car’s computer in a painfully focused manner for at least a half hour. There is some kind of problem with the car he said, “If I won’t succeed, I’ll just charge you for a key copy”.Just as I was about to tell him that it probably has to do with the failure of electronics in my steering column, he shushed me again. I thought to myself - whatever, dude.10 minutes later, just as I was about to tell him that Ill just take the key copy and go, he raised the key fob, clicked it, and my alarm went off, clicked again to lock/unlock the car, then twisted the toggle and ‘voila’!Then he looked at me with the satisfied look in his eyes & a obvious smile under a mask and said, - “You see, I don’t stop until I get it done!”.We then had a high quality conversation (a rarity these days) about integrity, health and good people. I then left, but not before asking him for recommendations to other specialists I could trust.It became clear to me that he was unwaveringly devoted to a set of universal principles which are most often ignored by companies in this day and age.1. Comment: Sorry for this late review. this place was recommended to me. went here, told them the type of lock I have and to save me $, the owner said, its best for me to take the lock off my door and bring it in then for him to come out and charge me for a house call fee. I brought the lock out to him, looked at it, told me he had to take it apart to know exactly.the lock he re-keyed comes in 2 types. type 1 can be re-keyed on the spot, although a special type of key. type 2 can be re-keyed, but manufacturer would need to send out a specific piece or part, which means addtl wait time. thankfully, it turned out to be type 1.thank you very much.

Comment: My neighbors recommended going to this locksmith located in a small neighborhood shop on Ave X off of Ocean Ave. Sam is very knowledgeable and cut my Lexus emergency keys from my blanks and original very quickly. They do it quickly and inexpensively on a special machine that laser sees the original and router cuts the blanks. I was quoted $100 in Allentown, PA and at JAM I was charged one-fourth that price. Comment: Drop the only key of my Toyota van down the storm drain. Call many locksmiths and these guys are the only ones that sound legit. They were responsible and checked my identity/registration before agreeing to make the key. The price was very reasonable and service was prompt. They got me back on the road in no time. Comment: I have brought in 3 different car keys so far to get copied all 3 worked great. The 3rd one had a 92 vw golf I was only able to get the door lock cylinder as we had no key for the car at all. I had my nephew drop the key off at JAM and all of a sudden I get a phone call informing me that the key was damaged but they will make 2 to make up for the one I brought in. As someone who works on cars every day I know things go wrong from time to time but you know a true professional by how things get handled during the bad times. They were fair and courteous. True professionals. I will always be back for all my key needs. Keep up the good work!
