Comment: We needed a second key fob for our car, and I called several places and received crazy price quotes on the fob and programming . Another locksmith in the area even quoted me an additional charged of $100 if I wanted “extra security” when programming the fob (whatever that means). Every other place I called gave me some silly song and dance on why the programming would have to be hundreds of dollars. The Ford dealership at Coconut point wanted almost $500 and an entire day to do this job. However, Lee lock and Key stood out… when I called them, a gentleman who answered the phone gave us the best advice regarding what website to purchase the fob from, quoted us a programming price and said “once you receive it come on in, it won’t take long”. We followed his advice and when we brought the fob to be programmed…a very lovely woman at Lee Lock and Key took about 10 minutes in total to do the job. The very reasonable price originally quoted was the actual price at time of programming, there was no nonsense or attempts at upcharging. Lee Lock and Key Is a stand-up, honest establishment with great integrity and outstanding great customer service. Our fob works great and they saved us hundreds of dollars.

Comment: Just minutes after Vision Ace refused to cut a couple car keys for me because I didn’t buy the blanks from them, I came to Lee Lock & Key. Wow, they had no problem cutting the blanks and within minutes had two new keys. Such a difference between a big chain store, and a store that truly is customer friendly. Stay away from Vision Ace and head to Lee Lock & Key, they are truly helpful.

Comment: Josh, as others have stated, is blessed with a gift to not only perform his job with perfection but with a heart to help and serve others. A few months ago, my wife and I came home to a locked half bolt only accessable from the inside (our dog flipped over the bolt). I garuntee if any other locksmith came out, they would have given up and we would have to replace the door (third floor without window access). He took his time to dremmel through the bolt with precision without damaging the door or the frame. He also came back out a few days ago to drop off a replacement latch mechanism and replaced the bolt free of service. The office staff is also great but Josh is the reason I’m writing this review.

Comment: I needed two key fobs programed that I bought from Amazon they said that they would not guarantee the fobs, I called a different locksmith in Fort Myers and they wanted 150.00 for each fob plus a 30.00 service fee I then called Lee Lock & Key and they said come by the next day and they could do it for 85.00 for both! The woman who waited on me was very professional and fast less than 15 minutes I was done! VERY very happy 😊 with them, would highly recommend them!

Comment: After visiting several other Locksmiths, including Gerald’s in N Ft Myers and Koons off Metro, Lee Lock & Key had the skeleton key in stock that fit my security door in my furniture desk door. The others either didn’t have keys or would need to keep the lock for days and have a key made for the tune of $65. Lee’s in stock Key was $3.65.

I had tried another locksmith in town and they refused to cut the keys because I did not purchase the keys there.I would return to Lee lock and key in a heartbeat!

Comment: I came here because it seems like no one can cut the key to my 2008 Prius, luckily these folks could! Its a special odd key that goes into the fob so not a lot of people specialize in it. The kind employee was able to cut it for me in just a couple minutes for an amazing price, Im quite thankful! Definitely recommending my friends here :)

Comment: My car was giving me problems starting and a mechanic couldnt fix it, because they said I needed a controller to start my 2004 Nissan Altima. Lee Lock & Key figured out that it was most likely my key that had a small batter chip in it was the problem and not a controller. Ever since they fixed my key I had no problem with my car! They know what there doing!!!

Comment: These guys are great!! I was visiting my sister in Ft. Myers and the ignition in my 2003 Honda Odyssey locked up and wouldnt turn. I bought a new ignition and installed it but it wouldnt work because the new keys didnt have the right chip to work with the immobilizer anti-theft system. I took the new ignition to Lee Lock & Key and he fixed my new ignition to work with the old key. Worked perfectly after I re-installed the ignition he re-keyed for me.

Comment: I am in Fort Myers for the season working. My Sprinter Van key which has a chip in it broke today. I went to the Mercedes Dealership and was told it would take several days to get a new one. I found Lee Lock & Key on the internet and was told they could make one. I went to their store and wham!!!!!!!!! I had a new key with chip coded to my van in minutes. Thank you so much. Comment: We lost our key and TJ was here within 15 mins. Very impressed. It was difficult to pick our lock as it is not used very often but he did not lose his patience and finally got us in. He serviced the lock and made us some extra keys and did not try to upsell us on anything. Highly recommend them.
