Comment: I called and needed someone to help me with getting my keys out of my car after locking them in , and they were in the ignition so I went on line and after calling several companys ,I called Preferred and they had somebody out here with in10 minutes. It just so happened that Jacob was on his way to another job and I was on the way. After he got here he had the door opened with in less than a minute. I would recommend this company to anybody that has issues with the locks. I also want to mention that the lady that answered the phone was very helpful and professional. Turned out he didn’t install the lock that had begun to fail but serviced it anyway. All his locks are quality, and his workmanship is solid. Very rare these days! So I purchased after market for my 2008 Town and Country van, I received them from Amazon which included how to self program them, after trying several times, somehow they deactivated my old ones so I had nothing plus my vehicle was dead....So I called Jacob and he drove over reprogram my new set, and ended up draining my battery so he helped me jump my van and it started right up!!!!Thank you for helping me, a true professional and made sure I was taken care of....*****

Comment: Great place. Took a newer advanced lock in to have it re-keyed. Was able to get a new key for it quickly and efficiently. Lady was very nice and did the job quickly. My only 2 downfalls were while I was there getting my house door lock re-keyed I decided to have my car key duplicated as well but they didnt have OEM or similar non chip Nissan car keys in stock. Only big silver ones. No similar to factory OEM replacement (black head or Nissan logo)Second downfall (not their fault) she could not re-key the schlage newer doorlock to the key I already had on all my other doors because she said the cylinders keyway patterns were different. (Schlage to Kwikset)all in all a good experience and a place I would return to but only four stars for not having similar to OEM Nissan replacement keys available that are non-chip keys

I called the Dodge dealership that I purchased the truck from and they wanted to charge me $198 for the key and $60 to program it. So instead I took it to Preferred Locksmith and they saved me about $100. Friendly service, I will definitely use them for now on.
