Comment: Awesome experience today. Friendly and knowledgeable staff. Needed a spare key made for my Yamaha ATV. Yamaha manufacturer doesn’t have blank keys for my model and I would have had to spend a lot more money on a whole new ignition in order to have two keys. I went here to Sarasota lock and key, never have been here before. The staff went above and beyond looking for a key that would work for my needs. Long and behold they found a key that may work. When leaving the store I went straight home to make sure the key worked on my ATV and IT WORKED. I called the store back and told them the news and they were very happy with the outcome. Love when small businesses go above and beyond for their customers. This store is about a 30-45 minute drive from me, I will be a returning customer as it’s worth the drive. Comment: In the course of a move to Florida, two of three barrel keys, which served as drawer pulls for an antique French Grange dresser were damaged. One of the two was snapped off in the lock, and the other was bent beyond usability.We took the remaining key to Sarasota Lock and Key. Scott spent a long time searching his resources for an appropriate blank. A week later, I was told that he had found a match. We now have three functioning keys again..The SL&K staff, in my opinion, went well above and beyond what others might do for a very small job. I will look to SL&K for any future lock/key needs
