Initially worked with Josh on redoing the locks and eventually purchased a number of other services from them which Shaun installed. Thanks-A-Lock was originally suggested to us by a trusted friend that lives in Boca. Both Josh & Shaun are extremely nice guys and very talented at what they do. Price was fair and the work was done quickly and efficiently. I can not recommend them highly enough. If you go in and meet with them youll see it is a no brainer that Thanks-A-Lock is the way to go!

They were incredibly helpful and gave me great advice. I called them the next morning and they were able to send out Sean later that afternoon. He did a fantastic job and explained the entire process of the new electronic locks I had installed. I highly recommend them and I wont hesitate to use them again and I will certainly refer my friends and neighbors to them.

Whether i need just a duplicate key or a new fob for the Caddy or a key to fit a hurricane shutter they have it all and know their stuff hands down. Dont waste your time with untrained amateurs.

Today they programmed a proximity key fob for me in less than 20 minutes at less than 1/2 of what my dealership charges. HIGHLY RECOMMEND.

Comment: I have an older model Nissan Xterra in which the ignition key tip broke off. I called several locksmiths in the area and everybody prices were sky-high. Thanks a Lock had the most most reasonable price, so I came to them. When I talked to Joshua, he explained that my key had been stripped and theres probably nothing they can do, but they were going to try to make another key by free style. Long story short, Joshua was able to make a key. He ended up saving me a lot of money that didnt have to spend. The guys in the shop were very knowledgeable and friendly.

Comment: Most importantly.When the owner John was contacted and made aware of the situation he immediately came to the rescue and corrected everything that was wrong. Sent a technician who has been with the company even before John owns the business and he was super nice, smooth and quick.Needed a couple of door locks interchanged, loose door knob tightened and install a blind bolt - quality of work was okay when the 1st help arrived. They charge a service fee of $59/- no matter what the job is.The employee Cody was at my place at 3 PM and left at 5:15 - that is 2hrs and 15 mins. During this time he worked for 1 hour tops for which the service fee of $59/- was paid.To my surprise the technician billed me for 2.5 hours at $65/- an hour !!!! When the service was booked they did not mention any thing about the extra charge. We indulged in lot of extra talks, we offered him lunch since it was our lunch time. It seems he was charging us for being nice to strangers OR in reality so that he could cover-up for his being away from work for that long.Had we known that they charge per hour besides the $59/- they charge for initial visit we would have kept our mouths shut and let him work and leave.Thanks a Lot John for taking care of your business.

Also have had keys made for locks that I lost the key to for very reasonable pricing compared to the only other locksmith I could find in the area.
